Hello again, I’m Esteban

I started in IT support and ended up designing the architecture.

I am a software engineer in Barranquilla, specialised in mobile. I have been writing code for six and a half years and working in tech for nine, from IT support at a cinema chain to apps for global brands.

I believe in architecture that lets you change an app without breaking it, in performance you notice on a mid-range phone, and in never claiming experience I do not have.

Product and code

I think in product and build in mobile. I care about the whole problem: the screen, the API behind it, and why users drop off.

Learning speed

Switching stacks without fear. From crypto wallets to fintech, from native Kotlin to serverless. Every jump meant learning in production.

Outside work

Building tools only I use, documenting what I learn, and tinkering with AI agents until they do something useful.
